Bio

I was born in Texas and grew up in Arizona on the border of Mexico, an environment where identity and place teeter on cultural and physical boundaries. In 2003 I moved to Tucson, where I studied at an art-focused program, and began taking my creative practice seriously. That led to a scholarship to the Oxbow School in Napa, California, which was an immersive experience that reinforced my commitment to developing as an artistic thinker.

I entered the professional world at Creative Machines, working hands-on in sculpture, fabrication, kinetic design, and engineering. Over the next two decades, I built a deep understanding of how ideas transform into large-scale objects. Along the way, I continued independent study in graphic design, fine art, and design engineering, combining these disciplines into a practice that bridges imagination, technical problem-solving, and craftsmanship.
